Dear PGSD Students, Families, and Community Partners,

As we conclude another successful school year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this year memorable and meaningful.

To our students, thank you for your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to learning. Your accomplishments, growth, and resilience make us proud and inspire us every day.

To our teachers, administrators, support staff, and district leaders, thank you for your dedication to serving our students. Your commitment, care, and countless hours of work have made a lasting impact on the lives of children across our district.

To our parents, families, and community partners, thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. Together, we create opportunities that help our students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

To our Board of Trustees, thank you for your leadership, service, and steadfast commitment to the students and families of Pascagoula-Gautier School District. Your guidance and support help ensure we remain focused on excellence and continuous improvement.

As I reflect on my first full year as Superintendent, I am grateful for all we have accomplished together. We have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, strengthened relationships, and remained focused on our mission of preparing students for bright futures.

To the Class of 2026, congratulations on reaching this important milestone. We are proud of you and look forward to all you will accomplish.

I wish each of you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. Take time to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming our students and staff back in July for another outstanding year.

Thank you for being part of the Pascagoula-Gautier School District family. Together, we remain committed to developing our Learners of Today into our Leaders of Tomorrow.

With gratitude,

Dr. Caterria B. Payton
Superintendent
