Homecoming events will take place at War Memorial Stadium at 5:45 before the start of the football game. Homecoming week will be October 12-15. Students recently elected Maids and a Homecoming Queen will be announced on October 14 at the football game. Students will be allowed to show their homecoming spirit by dressing according to the Spirit day: Monday, no school; Tuesday (Oct. 12), Camo shirt with jeans; Wednesday (Oct. 13), Tie dye shirt with jeans; Thursday (Oct. 14), wear red or blue shirt with jeans; and Friday (Oct. 15), the winning 7th and 8th gr. teams may wear their team color shirt with jeans.

Report cards will come home with CMS students today. Attached to them will be the MAAP test scores from Spring testing for those students who were in our school district last school year.

Students exempt from all exams do not have to attend school during exam days. Any student attending school during exam days will have to take the exam for the classes they attend; however, the grade will not lower their grade unless determined by an administrator. Checkouts will be allowed but must be pre- arranged by the student and the parent. Students may not come to the office to use the phone for checkouts and testing classrooms will not be disturbed with calls for checkout.

Students who are new or who were absent will have their picture taken on Thursday, Sept. 23. School uniforms must be worn.
